Cloud Backup for Servers
Onsite and offsite backups, in one solution
Data loss can be costly
Pepperdine University calculated the predictable cost per data loss to be $3,957. However, depending on the content loss, that cost could be higher and even more devastating to a business.
Data loss is stressful
But it doesn’t have to be. With Cloud Backup for Servers, instead of panicking, you can quickly and easily restore your lost data, and get back on track.

Not just cloud… Hybrid
Cloud Backup utilizes a hybrid approach, consisting of cloud storage in secure data centers around the world and an on-prem local copy of your data. Backups to both are managed and synchronized through a unified management console. By using a hybrid approach, you add the security and reliability of the cloud with the performance and availability of local storage to provide the fastest and most reliable backup and recovery.
Support for every platform and every applications allows Cloud Backup to seamlessly integrate with today’s most popular operating systems and applications to provide you the flexibility to backup as little as one file, a specific application (such as Exchange), an entire Windows server, VMware or Hyper-V images and data, or anything in between.
Deduplication and WAN optimization ensures the smallest, fastest, most intelligent backups possible by using Deep Deduplication, Altered Data Tracking and WAN Optimization technologies. Backups complete as quickly as possible – without impacting your Internet connection or business.
Local Backup Storage means your data is always protected, even without a connection. No Internet would normally mean no backup. With Disk-to-Disk-to-Cloud backups, local storage provides a redundant backup repository so you can rest assured your backup schedule is functional and your data is always being backed up – even in the event of an Internet outage.
Flexible recovery options because you want the ability to recover whatever you need, whenever and wherever you need it. Cloud Backup supports file level recovery as well as volumes, applications, or machines with physical, physical-to-virtual (P2V), and virtual-to-virtual (V2V) recovery all supported.
Archiving to meet compliance regulations that require you to keep data beyond the regular backup retention period. With Cloud Backup, data can easily be archived, allowing you quick, easy access and enabling you to meet compliance objectives, such as HIPAA, should the need arise.
Fastest recovery, always because you need your operations recovered immediately. Our hybrid approach – with backup storage both locally and in the cloud – allows for auto-selection the fastest recovery source (and it’s not always local) for the given data set.
Private key encryption ensures that only you have access to your data. You select the encryption key to be used with AES 128-bit, AES 256-bit, or 448-bit Blowfish encryption, guaranteeing only the owner of the key – you – can recover and access your data, eliminating any unauthorized access.
Encryption in motion and at rest guarantees your data is safe from the moment it leaves your site. Cloud Backup does exactly that throughout the entire backup and recovery process, keeping data safe from prying eyes and assisting with tight compliance standards (such as HIPAA).
Security focused architecture stores your data is stored in certified data centers worldwide. You choose the country to store your data and that’s where it stays, regardless of who comes asking for a copy. Every Cloud Backup data center – no matter where in the world – is either SSAE compliant or ISO certified, provides a 99.999% uptime guarantee and has 24/7 physical security.
Onsite and offsite backups in one solution because redundancy shouldn’t mean shipping tapes offsite. Cloud Backup’s hybrid architecture empowers you to manage both local and cloud-based backup and recovery in one solution all from the comfort of your office – making the job of backup up easier and allowing you to focus on your job.
Real time alerts for failed backups because even the backups designed to protect from system failure can fail themselves. So it’s important to know the when, where and why (hopefully) of backup failures the moment they happens. Receive email reports on the state of your backups, storage use, data selected and the success/failure of each job.
Remote deployment makes deploying backup agents to your entire network as simple as installing a single backup client that discovers the remaining systems within your network. Getting your backups up and running enterprise-wide is as easy as a single client install.
Continuous recovery means you don’t need to wait on for a disaster in order to start a recovery. Cloud Backup can automatically send daily delta changes to a VM, keeping it continuously updated. So when a failure happens, recovery is just a click away. Business continuity as it should be.
Virtual recovery allows you to easily recover to either VMware or Hyper-V virtual servers, ensuring you can get up and running as quickly as possible.
Cloud recovery offers the ability to recover to a virtual server on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services quickly in the event of a failure or disaster. Being able to use public cloud providers gives you customers an additional recovery option, increasing your speed of recovery and reestablishing business operations.
Bare metal recovery for when you need to start from the ground up. When your server hardware goes belly-up and you need to recover an entire server, a bare metal recovery is in order. With little more than a bootable USB recovery drive you can quickly recover a server to new hardware.
Standby image recovery is virtual recovery, without the virtual infrastructure. Some systems are so critical, you can’t wait for even the shortest of recovery times. And often these systems need to run locally to maintain performance norms. Standby Images provide the fastest and easiest way to maintain a bootable local image of your most important systems.
Secure data centers, where you need them
Cloud Backup for Servers uses only data center facilities that meet the rigorous standards and compliance needs of global businesses – meaning data is stored in state-of-the-art, secure and network-rich, ultra-reliable and energy-efficient centers with simply the highest standards of infrastructure design. We wouldn’t settle on anything less – and we don’t expect our customers to either.

Fair and transparent pricing is important to us.
We’ve worked in IT for a long time and like everyone who does, we don’t like waste and most of all we really don’t like being asked to pay for something that doesn’t make a difference to our business. So we’ve put together a pricing plan that we’d be happy to work with if the tables were turned.
- We only charge for the management of your backups. There are no hidden restore fees or seeding fees.
- We don’t meter your data storage, but we do have a fair use policy.
- Like all our services, it’s a ‘cancel anytime’ month-to-month contract with no lock-in.
- There is no overhead for upgrades – we take care of that for you.
- We bill you by invoice at the end of each month. All fees are automatically adjusted based on how many servers you’re backing up.
- We offer a risk-free 30 day trial. If you like it, we convert you to a paying customer. If it doesn’t work for you, simply uninstall the backup agents and there are no further costs to you.
Like the majority of our services, we’ve built a flat rate pricing model that has a predictable and easy to budget cost. The only difference is whether you’re backing up a server.
Fair use policy
Fair is fair and while we don’t meter your backup storage, we do ask that you backup an average of 500GB per server. So if you’re backing up three servers, we ask that you keep the selected data around (or under) 1.5TB, for example. We’ll never shut your service off, and if you really need to backup more than 500GB per server, we’re fine with that – the whole concept of our fair use policy is to make sure people aren’t abusing our unmetered storage.
